These terms describe optional SMS programs offered by Greenville Memorial VFW Post 3175 (“Post 3175”) when its approved business texting service is active. The Post operates at 1316 US-6, Port Jervis, New York 12771. For help outside texting, contact the Post.
1. Informational and service messages
If you separately opt in to informational SMS, Post 3175 may send requested event or ticket confirmations, registration changes, hall rental inquiry follow-up, booking reminders, volunteer scheduling information and important updates directly connected with the activity you requested. Frequency varies with your activity.
2. Marketing and community announcements
If you separately opt in to marketing SMS, Post 3175 may send optional announcements about upcoming public events, volunteer opportunities, community programs and fundraising activities where permitted under the approved campaign and applicable requirements. Frequency varies. This is a distinct choice from informational SMS; choosing one does not enroll you in the other.
Opt in and opt out
These subscriptions are entirely optional, even where you provide a telephone number to make a booking or inquiry. Consent boxes must be unchecked by default and may be left unchecked while submitting a form. You may withdraw consent to Post automated texts at any time by replying STOP. For messaging support, reply HELP when the service is active or use the Post contact page. We honor valid requests to stop sending messages.
Carrier and delivery disclosures
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Delivery timing can vary with your carrier or the communication provider. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS should not be used for emergencies.
